Fiery Dragon Fire Poker

A Functional Sclupture by Ethan Koch

This piece is unique in my eyes for having some of my first copper inlay I’ve done- in his eyes. It also features a twist that I’ve developed over time, specifically for making dragons. It gives an incredibly battle-scarred look, with cuts and slashes going every which way, and yet feels comfortable and strong in the hand. The hanger itself has its own interest, formed as a tail violently piercing through a wall- and yet the dragon looks so happy amidst it all. I like to think he’s a lesson in overcoming your past. Scars remain, yet new growth can be had.
